Second, as promised, here is a run down of some of the phraseology used in the podcast:
Miniseries - the muzak of visual media, a miniseries is set of television episodes just long enough to be boring but too short to be artful.
A water bottle full of lasers - commonly used in the 80's to imply that something is way cooler than it appears. This phrase is the opposite of "a pocketful of kryptonyte".
Fool's gold - something so rare and valuable that the concentration required to merely comprehend it's value will cause brain damage.
Dry snitching - telling on someone or revealing a secret for no reason.
Don't be that guy - this phrase has no actual meaning. It is a just some thing that people say to fill awkward space in a converstion similar to a drawn out "ummmm" or "sooooo."
It's a perfect storm - basically, this is the same as saying, "hey everyone, I have no idea what actually happened so I'm going to make up a completely implausable story in order to avoid blaming anyone for the huge mess we are currently in.
Sassmitton - what happens when Siskel meets Ebert.
